What is Arthrosamid?

Arthrosamid® is a non-biodegradable 2.5% polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis (OA). It becomes integrated within the knee’s synovial lining. Its precise clinical mechanism is still being investigated, but current evidence suggests that it changes the biomechanical properties and elasticity of the synovium. It is intended to relieve symptoms, not to regenerate cartilage or halt osteoarthritis.

How the Procedure Works

3️⃣ Recovery & Results

You can walk as usual the same day. Improvement often develops over several weeks. Studies report pain and function improvements for up to five years after one injection; results vary.
