IMPORTANT: Please read before booking: ACTIVATE | MSK Clinic provides specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) care for adult patients aged 18 and over. We treat conditions affecting the joints, muscles, tendons and bones, including the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, elbow, wrist, hand, foot, back, and spine. You will be asked two qualifying questions when you book: 1. Are you 18 or over? We can only accept adult patients. 2. Which area is affected? Please select the area you need treatment for. If you are under 18, please speak to your GP for a referral to a paediatric service. If your concern is not a musculoskeletal condition, please contact your GP for the appropriate referral. You will be assessed clinically by taking a detailed history and performing a clinical examination. In some instances, a musculoskeletal ultrasound scan may be required to confirm the diagnosis (without extra charges). A detailed personalised management plan will be formulated. Your plan could included further investigations like X-rays or MRI scans (obtained via another provider). If further imaging is required, a follow up appointment will be arranged to discuss the results and further management. If a soft tissue injection of corticosteroids is indicated (without ultrasound guidance) as a management option based on diagnosis, this will be offered at no extra charges.
