Not all patients are the same, and we recognise that medical consultations and health checks can be stressful. That’s why we treat all patients as individuals in a holistic way, not just their diagnosis and scans.

At ACTIVATE, we believe that maintaining optimal health and preventing disease are just as important to the physical and mental wellbeing of our patients. We will also advise you on how to manage your condition yourself and support you through every step of your treatment
No referral required. Appointments booked at your convenience
We know how much of an impact muscle, bone and joint conditions can have on your day-to-day life. That’s why we provide fast and convenient access at a time and place that suits you.
You’ll have time with a specialist MSK doctor to discuss your symptoms and treatment options, so we can help you ACTIVATE as soon as possible.

I qualified as a doctor in 2004 and have been an orthopaedic surgeon since 2010 working in Kent with special interest and experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) medicine and primary care Orthopaedics. In addition to orthopaedic surgery and MSK medicine, I received training in MSK ultrasound scanning (diagnostic and interventional) at the University of East London and Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
I am passionate about providing evidence based community musculoskeletal care that is accessible, affordable and patient-centred, recognising the changing landscape in healthcare. My work has led to improvement in service quality, reduction in waiting times and the establishment of the first community MSK Virtual Clinic in Kent.
My postgraduate qualifications include Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Masters degree (distinction) in Surgical Sciences from The University of Edinburgh, Fellowship of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and AO Trauma Fellowship in Switzerland.
I have a special interest in teaching and I am a tutor on the Edinburgh Surgical Sciences Masters Course in addition to teaching junior doctors in Kent.
