Are you a suitable candidate for Arthrosamid?
Arthrosamid is a permanent hydrogel knee injection for adults with knee osteoarthritis. It's not suitable for everyone — but if you have persistent knee OA pain that hasn't responded well to conventional treatments, you may be a good candidate. Use this free tool to check your eligibility in under 2 minutes.

Who is typically suitable for Arthrosamid?
Arthrosamid works best for adults with knee osteoarthritis who have persistent moderate to severe pain that has not responded adequately to conventional treatments such as physiotherapy, anti-inflammatory medication, or cortisone injections. It is particularly well suited to patients who want to avoid or delay knee replacement surgery and who do not have inflammatory joint conditions.
Who is Arthrosamid not suitable for?
Arthrosamid is not recommended for patients with inflammatory arthritis conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or gout. It is also not suitable for patients with active joint infection, known allergy to polyacrylamide, or severe joint deformity. If any of these apply to you, our checker tool will suggest alternative treatments that may be appropriate.
What happens after the check?
The checker gives you an indicative result based on the most common candidacy criteria. If your result suggests you may be suitable, the next step is a consultation with Dr Mustafa Alnaib MBChB MRCS MSc FEBOT at our London or Kent clinic. Dr Alnaib will review your scan results, assess your knee clinically, and confirm whether Arthrosamid is the right treatment for you. Most patients are seen within two weeks.
