Nanoscope Knee Arthroscopy Under Local Anaesthetic

Nanoscope knee arthroscopy is a minimally invasive, needle-based procedure that allows Mr Mustafa Alnaib to look inside the knee joint and treat certain problems in the same visit — performed under local anaesthetic through a single 2mm portal, as a day case, without a hospital admission or general anaesthetic. It is offered at ACTIVATE | MSK Clinic's Kensington location (Visit Health, 1 Blythe Road) to carefully selected patients following clinical examination and imaging review.

What Is Nanoscope Knee Arthroscopy?

a miniaturised needle arthroscope (approx. 2mm) inserted through a tiny portal at the front of the knee, giving direct visualisation of the joint surfaces, meniscus, and ligaments in real time, with the option to treat certain pathology during the same procedure.
